How Yoplait comp was drawn
Just for info really.
While I was in Melbourne I asked the lady (won't mention names) from the promotions company how many entries were received and how the winners
were drawn.
She said over 10,000 entries were recieved which were pooled together.
An independant person watched the draw and it was drawn as follows.
Because winners were required from each state/catagory the envelopes were pulled from the pile and if that person was from , lets say WA, then they
were the winner from that state. If the next envelope drawn was from WA again, it went back into the pile and another was drawn, until all the
catagories were filled.
On the major game day, we were asked to select an envelope in the order that we were drawn.
The envelopes had been placed again by an independant person and none of the promotions people knew where the winning envelope was. |
