I've always been curious about apostrophes.
Can't is short for cannot and is one word. Don't is short
for do not and is two words. Some sites have word
counters for the wol slogan, some of them count can't
as two words and others not. It's is another one; "It's a
living language", It's is short for it is and is two words.
"Living it's language", it's is possessive and is only one word.
I think if there is no word counter on the entry form,
it's probably better to play safe and count them as two
words rather than one. |
