How long to wait for prizes?
Hi. I’m relatively new at this, and was wondering how long you wait for your prizes before thinking there might be a problem?
For example, I received a runner-up prize for the Cosmo/Carefree Barely There comp. I was notified somewhere around 17 July, so it’s been around five
weeks so far. Is this pretty standard? I’ve read through the T&Cs but can’t find anything about the timeframe for sending prizes. I’m just so
happy to be a winner and I’d hate to be a pain and chase them at all, let alone too early.
How long do you wait? |

4 - 6 weeks is about the usual
I also had a phone call to say i was a runner up in this comp on the 22nd July, its a bit slack of them I would of thought that the prize would of
been sent by now.
Did you record the phone number that rang you as if you did if you pm it to me i will ring and see whats going on |

Hmmm that reminds me - saw my name on the winners list for virgin blue voyeur comp (closed end of may). Thought I'd just be patient for awhile but now
I'm thinking I really should contact them. As it is if i hadn't googled my name I wouldn't have even know I'd won!
Just think how many prizes would go unclaimed without pepole chasing them up themselves! |
