filling entry forms on line

Hi I'm new to this, hope I'm putting my question in the correct forum.
My question is - when they have the tick boxes and ask if you would like newsletters sent etc. does it make a difference to your entry in regards to having more chances of winning if you say yes?

I don't think it matters ,but some comps you have to click it to enter.

I just unsubscribe to some after comp. Only because my email box gets full :)

It's a good idea to read the T&C's. Sometimes you have to opt in, and usually they say so. Sometimes they want you to remain subscribed for the length of the competition. Read carefully. If they don't say anything, it's usually OK to just tick that you agree with the T&C's.
