How to use the SEARCH button

How to use the SEARCH button

If you are looking for a particular comp - try using the promoter's name, or the product that may be the prize, the url, or even the permit number.

If you are looking for a particular comp - some of the members have been placing things such as the following in the threads to show up in a SEARCH:

triptrip
carcar
mobilemobile
holidayholiday
fridgefridge
cashcash

etc.

The Search button is the last button (on the right) on the top line, in the dark blue section, at the top of the page.

If you are looking for something in a particular section of the forum - the SEARCH function allows you to do this.

The SEARCH button also allows you to look up posts by other members.

It also helps when using the SEARCH button - to open up what result you want in a new window. If you do not and you hit the back button - your search will have expired and you will have to start again.

Hope this helps,

Tye:)

If you search for prizesprizes you'll get a list of comps with lots of prizes (100+) giving you better odds of winning a prize.

So am I right that
triptrip = overseas
&
holidayholiday = Australia?

That is the way I have been doing it in my posts

Do we bother with little things like moviesmovies?

I try and complete other posts with as many with words such as triptrip holidayholiday cash cash, but there are so many comps I miss as this in not placed on the posting.

Hoping maybe admins could do, if not - encourage people to add to the posting.

regards

its not a requirement for the person who posts comps. We all contribute in whichever way we can and if that's because someone else hasn't put this in the post for whatever reason and we notice this, we will add. As part of the lottos community

Yes, I am fully aware it is not a requirement and grateful for the person who posts. What I am encouraging is that moderators do or guests go ahead and place the necessary words.

My suggestion would be if ANY member stumbles accross a post that doesnt have these words then simply make a post and apply them to the thread yourself, as it would be a huge task for moderators/admins or any members to go through every single post to add the necessary words on these posts.

Just wondering if we could add moviemovie to the list. Would be handy to find comps that are giving movie tickets as prizes.

I just search DR or FP for movies. Works quite well.
