The search function
Hi all,
Just wondering if someone can help me with how the search function does (or doesn't) work?
For example: When I put in "Drive North Queensland" it only picks up one result from the winners thread, why doesn't it pick up this link?

Thanks heaps

Make sure you select from the beginning that way it will show up more results

It's a fickle thing brookeandjo, as said you need to select the right time frame, but the choice of word is also crucial. eg, if a poster puts an
apostrophe in the heading and you don't on search, it sometimes won't come up. Also it's worth trying the search with no gap between words... this
will often bring a result when the same search failed with gaps between words. If there is a comma in the heading it will often will bring no result.
I always try to avoid commas and apostrophes when posting a heading for that reason.
If the site or company still won't come up, try the prize...eg Toyota or whatever. And there is also triptrip and carcar to try.
If all fails, well it's time to look through the list in the All Comps report. Bummer that. |
