OK thanks. I somehow managed to change one of the photos in winners URL post earlier(also taken from Photobucket) got rid of the link in it and I have been trying to do that again. Some strange fluke maybe?

I see you have got rid of the link in my cat's photo but it is still there in my dogs.

It is in my dogs photo. Goes to photobucket if you click on it.

just copy the url of the image and use the photo icon "insert image" from lottos formatting

thanks, it is still one step removed though. I want to put the photo into the post without the link in the picture in one step. Maybe I'll come back to this tomorrow for more torture. ;)

OK I reduced the size of the first picture (of my dog) right down to 250 x 187 in photobucket, got its link and inserted it, then previewed the post - the link in the picture was still there - but this time, copying the URL and pasting it back into the Insert picture thing worked, the picture is in and there is no link in it anymore going to my photobucket library. Seems the problem was the original picture was too large to do the step 2 thing of copying picture URL. I'm sure I'll have no problem whatsoever in remembering how to do this in a week's time LOL

One last practice shot, may as well post the entire fur/feather family. My next project is to find out how people put photos and other GIFfy things in under the dotted line in their posts.
