Poems as 25wol answers? Why?
New here, hello!
I'm curious... Why does everyone here interpret 25wol comps as requiring a catchy poem as opposed to a regular sentence? |

because the terms and conditions usually state the answer will be judged on creativity and or wit.

I dont do poems usually ... just one liners. A few of the comp people who have called me when I have been runnerup or the like have actually said
they liked the poems and the like ... and if you see from success stories on here the poems have a pretty high success rate.
Its all luck of the draw ... am sure it depends on the mood of the person choosing anyways.

I have only won a few prizes with 25 so far. But the poems and witty one liners have won with equal success. Sometimes I think a witty one liner,
something that really makes them smile is just as good if not better than a whole 25 word poem. So my suggestion is to try all and often winners say
that they have won with just a few words that have popped into their head. Just keep entering, entering, entering........as many have said before you
never know what will get the attention of the judges on the day.
I won a stella precious body cream ($62) with this very plain and what I considered boring answer.
What do you love about winter?
That the binikin is safely stored in the cupboard.
That was it! lol......and with other entries I can spend hours of time and win nothing! So just keep going, and enter anything that comes to mind. |

I think a poem is better,
Tends to be an attention getter,
And then if I win a prize,
It really is no big surprise!
