Johnnie Walker Christmas Comp - WINNING ENTRY
This 100WOL entry won me a 4.5L bottle of Johnnie Black! Yum!
HERE GOES:
Twas the night before Christmas, I'm alone in the house,
The children are sleeping and the missus is out.
Wandering across to the base of the tree
Fossick through presents, wondering what’s for me?
What have we here? A tie and some socks?
But what's in that rectangular box?
Peel back the paper, and to my delight
I'm finally given something I like!
BLACK LABEL from Santa, haven't I been nice!
I sprint to the kitchen for a tumbler and ice.
But the instant the sweet nectar touches my tongue,
Someone snatches the glass and whispers, “Boy, are you sprung!”

Yes Andy, it's terrific - a well deserved win, are you taking any advance orders to write for other's as well,?? (i.e. that way if
some comp has several prizes on offer some of us may win with your help?????) - maybe a percentage of the winnings could be even offered to Andy as a
incentive?? ha, ha or aren't we allowed to offer bribery & corruption in lottos??? - enjoy the drinkies you did very well. |
