comps from men's mags

I put a lot of work into entering comps from mens mags but never win anything from them.

does anyone have any tips in relation to what the judges like?


any help is greatly appreciated

I have a win every month or so. Be rude and funny I find gets their attention every time.

I'm a woman and have won a few times from men's mags.

My postie loves bringing me my Zoo Weekly subscription.

My husband won a trip to India from a mens magazine - he cant remember his exact answer but he knows it was rather crude.

We spend so much time coming up with witty, rhyming 25wol poems & the biggest win we (he!) ever had came from a tacky one liner off the top of his head.

I have only just recently picked up the courage to buy People Magazine because I like doing the puzzles. I have won from FMH - a man's magazine. I just write whatever pops into my head. :P

I get my boyfriend to write the answers for the Men's Mag comps. He doesn't mind doing the occasional answer as long as I do all the "hard work" filling in the forms. I enter them under his name- he gets the prizes, and I get the satisfaction of adding them to my total winnings tally.

If he can't be bothered with some of the questions, I make up an answer and enter under my name. I try to be funny or cheeky (or downright naughty - depending on the publication). Of course, his answers have more luck than mine, being a "male brain".
