Appartment search for Holiday...

Am thinking about going for a holiday in October to the Gold Coast (Sufers Paradise), just wondering if anyone knows of some nice but not too expensive places I could stay, I'd need a 2 bedroom appartment. Any suggestions?

check out property management companies, they often have holiday lets and are often cheaper than booking directly through the resorts.

I can highly recommend Angela Property Management Services at Mermaid Beach, i recently booked a 2 brm apartment at Diamond Sands resort (Mermaid Beach) through them, it was a reasonable price, very clean, really spacious and only a few steps from the main balcony to the spa and pool (both of which are heated between April and October). it was right on the highway which is great for public transport buses day and night.

Thanks guys, I am in a wheelchair so it makes it somewhat difficult as not all places are wheelchair accessible. When I stayed on the Gold Coast previous years I stayed at hotels.

My family stayed at Mari Court years and years ago (15 to be precise!!!) While it was ages ago, it still looks beautiful and modernised - it was an awesome place to stay...! I loved it!!! Looking at the photos brought back so many fond memories!! Makes me want to go back!!!!!!!

We went to the Gold Coast in October last year and because of Indy couldn't get anywhere to stay in Surfers. We ended up staying at Swell Resort Burleigh Heads, in a two bedroom appartment with our three children. It was absolutley beautiful, very modern. We also love Burleigh, it was just a couple of minutes walk to great restraunts and cafes and Surfers is still just fifteen minutes down the road. I hope wherever you end up it is lovely!

Indy definitely still on in October. Try Broadbeach, there's some really nice apartments there, good shopping and the beach is good. Wotif.com has good deals, try their website.
Have a good hol. I live on the Gold Coast so it's holiday season for me all the time. :P

If you want a low-rise, then Trickett Gardens is good. Have stayed there three times, its only three minutes walk to Cavil Mall and has full kitchen and stove etc.
For higher rise, have stayed at The Islander (the pink building) The floor below the penthouse is apartments with kitchen. It's only 100 metres away from Tricket Gardens, smack in the heart of Surfers.
