Getting into a system for comping

Hi All,

As another newbie into comping, I was wondering if anyone wanted to share where to from here.

Using the premium access, I now have all Web online comps, under control, plus all from Woolworths, Take 5 & That's Life that I wanted to enter - so where to from here.

Without getting overwhelmed, what else could I be entering where I don't always have to buy something. I was thinking of starting on the SMS comps :)

Oh dear, it can become a bit overwhelming/addictive!!!

Thanks
Julia

I try and go through a few pages of 'web comps by close date' each day.
Magazine 25WOL are another one to try and do each day if it's something you'd love to win :)
good luck

Welcome SweetPea52 :)
I use the side panel and click "All comps closing in the next 10 days", or even "All comps closing in the next 10 days less those marked 'not interested', 'entered' or 'wol" (This option is just under the other option) Basically this report will show comps that I have not entered yet, minus the ones I have marked with a red cross, and minus all the words or less comps.

Good Luck :)

Thanks so much! I finally finished the 25 pages or so of web comps - though I thought of filling out another online entry form was enough to send a calm person crazy!

Thanks for the ideas

Hope this is helpful and not confusing.

If you have a spare weekend catch up on everything by doing a Comps from Highest to Lowest Prize Pool report. Mark off everything into Favourites, Visit/Again, Not Interested or Entered. I usually put all product purchase and daily entry comps into favourites, and everything else I want to go back to (mainly 25wol) into Visit Again.

Go to your favourites list each morning to do your daily entry comps and create your shopping list and then work through your Visit Again Follow Up as a to do list. This way the comps are all prioritised for you by close date.

Then each day, do "All New Comps in past 24 hours " report, and mark these off. That way you know you are covering every comp and that you are aware of those daily entry comps, or product purchase one's that have multiple draws and you want to be in it from the beginning.

I don't win nearly as much as some of the terrific compers on here, but I'm always trying and have had some really lovely wins.

Best of luck and hope this helps.

Every time I get into a system some thing happens to throw it into kaos so now it's enter what & when I can .
Have also made a rule to do some long put off chores before the computer goes on ,
Am much happier that little things are getting done & then relax over the comps .
Comps closing in 10 days is a good place to start , don't have to wait so long for a win :D:D:D

the two areas I use are closing 10 days minus entered and uninterested...

Anything marked follow up/visit again still comes up...that way I can cover any closing in the next few days...

one I like to do but havent had time is all comps added in the last week minus entered and not interested....That way I can get a head start on new ones

It is getting a bit mind boggling. Hubby is feeling PUT OUT, so is the dog.she tries to sit on my lap while i am on the computer. But I am not one for quitting. Definitely go into the All comps closing within next 10 days less those marked entered or not interested. Good Luck. :D

Until you win a car, a boat, a big trip etc etc hubby will always feel PUT OUT!!! Mine has settled down a little and gives me his blessing as he knows it keeps me happy but I think it's cos he's getting old and more mellow!!!! (or maybe it's just that I'm getting old & less attractive ;););)

Just came across this post and realised it was one I wrote under my previous username (SweetPea52/was also Meekainc) - 7 years ago! Still sound advice :)
