Winning Sledge for 'Allan Border Medal Night' Tix
Aaaaah!... it's fun being able to share some of the silly stuff 
Had a call from Triple M late this afternoon whilst shopping for 'Specially marked' Milo tins to say I was one of the finalists for the 1st round of the 'Allan Border Medal' Tix.....
Was then asked to be available around 6.30 with the other finalists to hold on the line whilst they read some of the other entries out, before
introducing the winner....
Waiting patiently and having a giggle or 2 at the other entries being read out, I was wondering if they'd forgotten to put mine on the rack..... but then came the introduction.... Yay!... They picked my entry  Woohoo!
I was having kittens by that time..... and got to chat on air for a little while and repeat some of the following 'sledge' (Entry) that was submitted
the other day.
This was a fun comp, as I was able to submit an original sledge from my cricketing days...
I'm still having kittens now... Oops.. there goes another one

Playing for Merlynston cricket club in the late 80's, The
legend still lives.
The 'large eared' bowler told me I was batting like a goose.
"At least I don't look like a bloody elephant... You're bowling like one too!"
Next ball sailed over his head.....
"Ya like that goosestep Dumbo"

There's still another set of tix available next week for Triple M, and some of the sister stations around Australia for anyone wanting to enter...
should be a great night.... a walk along the red carpet, 3 course dinner & booze, getting to rub shoulders with current and legends of the game at
the Crown Palladium.
Also entry to the official 'After Party' Celebrations.
