Winning entry for Travel Alberta / Star Trek Canada Trip
Thought I'd share my winning entry for the Travel Alberta / Star Trek / JB Hifi comp for a $12K trip to Canada:
Question was: tell us, in 100 words or less, what you would do on holiday in Alberta.
S_cenic bliss, flawless landscapes surround me,
T_ransfixed by beauty, the views just astound me,
A_lberta, where have you been all my life?
R_ock(y) my world, and that of my wife.
T_ravelling over Highwood Pass,
R_evelling in nature's utmost class,
E_nding up in Banff of all places,
K_indly greeted by locals' friendly faces.
A_thabasca Glacier is next on our list,
L_ake Louise just can't be missed.
B_us ride on the majestic river of ice,
E_xcitement & adventure sure to entice.
R_ounding off our trip is West Edmonton Mall,
T_o shop, play & have an absolute ball,
A_lberta undoubtedly has it all!
