I took up soccer at age 46 and learnt how to kick the ball pretty well ,pretty quickly, my advice to you is just get someone to show you the absolute
basics , if they show you the foot placement (of the non kicking leg) and where on the ball to aim with your kicking foot and you practice that then
I reckon your in with a chance. but above all have fun!!!! it sounds awesome |

Congratulations, what a win.
It looks like you've already got all the great advice you need.
I'd say enjoy the experience. They dont usually expect these "chance at winning" to actually win. They are not designed to be easy. Hoepfully you can
get some good coaching from a local club, you never, never know. I hope you can succeed.
If not they I hope there is a nice conselation prize and a great weekend away. |

Maybe at a club so you can get some pointers, but most of all enjoy it & try not to stress!

How Cool LooLoo!! If your really nervous about being in front of a huge crowd
& on T.V etc (I would be terrified) I would suggest you dress up in soccer gear, boots, hat & sunnies. Your not LooLoo anymore your a awesome
upcoming Socceroo who's about to kick the winning goal!! Hire a coach & maybe have a shot of vodka! GOODLUCK!! |

There was a similar competition at Wembley in London in November and the man actually kicked the crossbar and won a quarter of a million pounds!!!

Thank you for all the great advice I've received!
I've been training, eating, drinking, sleeping, dreaming about the ball hitting the target.
There is no doubt what the result will be, however I'm still going to need all your good thoughts and vibes between 7:45pm - 8pm (Brisbane time) on
Wednesday night.
