Peter, thanks for sharing your battle with the Big C.
I have always wondered why sometimes you are MIA and now I know.
You are a gutsy person who has a great, postive attitude
and i believe that will help you get through this time.
Lottos is lucky to have you. Sending you many positive vibes and healing prayers.
Prove those doctors wrong,.

Geez...you always gotta be the centre of attention don't ya mate? I mean couldn't you have come up with a better excuse for your abcence?
Like "I was on a covert spy mission in Russia and seeing as they erased all my identity I didn't know who I was anymore" or "I was day dreaming one
day whilst I was trying to come up with a 25 wol and I was staring at my avatar when suddenly I was sucked into it and found myself riding a Harley
down a very boring main street with repetetive scenery and I couldnt get out till the power was cut off for non payment and thus my computer shut
down" or "I was abducted by aliens" (at least that would be partially true re the a**l probing)
Seriously mate...you're a true inspiration and I admire your courage.

I'm so sorry Rooboy...what a bugger!
We're both off for our 5 year colonoscopies in a couple of months but I've always wondered what might be happening in between times!!! My OH's Dad had
cancer exactly the same as you & my Mum so hence we've got a greater chance.
So my heart goes out to you and we're always here for a chat or whatever you need.
We appreciate your openness and honesty.
Keep your chin up. You're amazing. I'm sure I'd be a wreck if I were in your shoes.

Colonoscopy hey? I know nothing about them? Is it like a pap smear? eg regular yukky but important thing? Will look it up.

I've been wondering where you were rooboy..I'm glad you're home.. Make the most of the time you've got and do you have a motorised wheelchair?
I expect to see you on the news, wearing a lottos shirt hooning around doing donuts out the front of Flinders street station giving everyone the bird!
Surely that must be on your to do list!
You'll have to leave your lottos membership to someone important... after all the comps you've posted it will last generations! Just letting you know
in a kinda strange way that I personally have always been ASTOUNDED at the comps you find that NOBODY else ever can 
You are a VIP here in lottosland and if there's anyone that'll put up a helluva fight,
I reckon it's you.

Oh Rooboy - I am so saddened to read this :-( You are a tough bugger so keep on battling it mate. My mum was told 12 months with Ovarian and she
lived for 5 years. She was a tough bugger too.
You will be in my prayers. Cancer just plain sucks!!!

YES, perhaps we need a HEALING thread - where we concentrate on whatever we believe will work to bring healing to RooBoy. Prayer to whomever we desire
- God, Buddha, angels, Jesus, the power of the Universe, positive thinking etc, a prayer chain???? Surely we can do something to kick this "b" of a
thing.
Not sure how we go about it.

Oh Rooboy, I'm so sorry. That is such crappy news
I certainly missed you, as you were so generous when I first joined lottos, always wishing well and congratulating me if I had a win on a comp you'd
posted. I wish you'd just been on a long holiday, or living wRg's little fantasy tale.....
I don't want to trivialise in any way what you're going through, but I truly believe that the fighting spirit often wins through. I was diagnosed with
an incurable disease and given 2 to 5 years to live, considerably longer than you, granted, but I'm still here 23 years later. It's obvious that you
have that fighting spirit and get back up every time you get knocked down, so if anyone can beat this, it's you.
I'm sure I echo everyone's thoughts when I say that if there's anything anyone can do to help, please ask. It will make us feel better if there's some
little thing we can do. Even if you just need to whinge and someone to listen to you
