Don't cheat
ALWAYS Keep receipts and sometimes packaging (the T&C's will tell you if you need to keep barcodes and packaging)
Read terms and conditions

Edit to add; some of those tips are a bit outdated because you used to be able to just keep barcodes and enter regardless of when you bought it, these
days you really need to purchase within the promotional period and be able to provide your receipt as Proof Of Purchase (POP)

If you're a technological dinosaur like me, a tip is to find out how Facebook and Twitter work. That's my goal for 2011. There are heaps of comps
there that I haven't got a clue how to access or enter!!
Anyone like to start a thread with instructions???
