A Question About Keeping Barcodes
Hi Everyone! I am quite new here and I have noticed that a lot of you experienced compers save bar codes from products for future competitions. How
does this work for you when a receipt is also required? Is there some way around this because obviously if you save the receipt from that particular
purchase and it is dated before the competition starts they probably wouldn't accept it would they?
Thanks for reading.

If it requires a receipt, then most comps state that you need to buy the product within the comp time frame.
If it doesn't require a receipt, I can't see why you couldn't use barcodes you have collected. |

There are many times when you've bought the product in the required time frame, but it's going to take some time for you to use it up and
get the barcode -- so saved barcodes can be great then. Not everyone has large families who will devour whole packets or cans in a short time. |

I had to produce the receipt for dufour (winning the Ute) in the competition time frame so make sure you abide by the T&Cs.....
Other comps just require barcodes only.....
Good Luck and start collecting .... |

Gillette (Dufour) are well known for asking for receipts. Good on them I reckon for sticking to their T and C's. |
