We have the shirts, flags, shorts, tattoos, hats, zinc etc... ready to go for the Australia Day celebrations at our local sports club tomorrow...can't

HAPPY AUSSIE DAY everyone .
What's on your menu for today???
As hubby is working until 4.00pm and Miss 16 is working until 2.00pm, our usual Aussie Day BBQ is on hold (mainly due to the poor weather)...I'm now
going to making the family's fave dish for dinner...home made Fried Rice!!! It took quite a while to perfect...but the kids REALLY like mine more than
the take-away!!!!

Raining here. Just a nice relaxing day reading, entering comps and chilling out. We did have a big cricket game planned at the local park but with all
the rain, the park has been closed.
But I don't care. just a nice day to remember what a great country we live in. |

We've also had lots of rain in Brisbane and many events cancelled, however the sun is trying to make an appearance at the moment. Don't think it will
last though.

Kids gone to Big Day Out (hope they don't drown) so just a quiet one here. We usually spend the day at the beach, weather permitting.

Starting the day with a bit of comping, coz no work today (yippee).
going to potter around my little patch of Australia - home and do whatever.
Going to city for early dinner then the tennis tonight to see the men's semi finals. |
