WOL ANSWERS.
I thought I'd share a few of my losing WOL's.
If anyone could give me tips/tell me what I'm doing wrong that'd be great lol!
Qu: 'why are you and your mates over beer?' (Canadian club promotion)....
my answers were:
'we were never under beer mate. CC drinkers proud and true.'
and:
'we met C.C'.
Q: who would you swap lives with and why?
Katy- boobies
Oprah- heart
Sheen- parties
Zukerberg- smart
Gates- fortune
Kardashian's- fame
Obama- power
Edward's- flame <3
Gaga-curiosity
You- generosity!? 
Q: why do you deserve a DREAM holiday?
'because I usually have nightmares'.
Q: why do you deserve to win?
'I probably don't, but you need to choose somebody, It may as well be me'.
Q: why do you want to go to Taiwan?
'I've always wanted to see where my toys were made.'
Q: why do you deserve to experience the ultimate in natural beauty?
'my boyfriend gets to experience the ultimate in natural beauty looking at me every day. When's it my turn?'
FOR A COUCH BY 'KINGS FURNITURE' I decided to try a MAIL IN... I sent in a letter attached to the back of an envelope, I made it all fancy with red
ribbon tied to it etc.
Q: Why do you deserve this kings couch? -something like that.
I wrote:
Commoners of Vogue/King Furniture....
I am writing on behalf of the king.
It has came to his attention a magnificent couch named 'Carousel' has been developed.
He LOVES the design and has demanded it be handed over to the royal kingdom at once!
Response requested immediately!.
The KINGS messenger.
And for another Mail In- for a washing machine... It asked 'why do you deserve this sports washer?'
So I sent in a dirty sports sock- literally attached it to the envelope... along with the statement 'my machine will not get this clean'.
I never win any 25 wol comps....
FEEDBACK? TIPS? SUGGESTIONS?

Some of your answers are very clever. It really is a game of chance all the time, even when judged. All comes down to the person reading the entries.
Some will love your answers, others won't.
And there are a lot of very clever and witty people (self not included!) entering nowadays, so the competition is steep. You will win some, you will
lose some. But with your answers you are bound to win something soon! |

I think these are funny answers.
As for the King furniture, the comp only finished today, so you may get the WPC to say that you are a winner. I think the answer is clever.
I cant give you any tips, as each comp is different. I take each comp separately and wait for the inspiration to come. Not that I win many. |

All great .... who knows what they want?
Atleast with the mail ins you will get NOTICED and therefore they will atleast READ your entry due to your dedication to STAND OUT!

It may feel like we're all experts on here but in reality most of us are still learning, like you. Your entries are all original, clever and funny,
it's just a matter of striking the right time/judge/promoter. Whatever you do don't give up!!! Your time to win could be just around the corner. |

There's no right or wrong - you're answer's are great. I love the Kings couch one - and yes it only just closed. Just remember there will be 100s
and often 1000 s of entries in each competition and you are not going to win them all. Some people never win WOL, I've won some but not very often.
I think you're looking for a magic answer but the only answer I could give is keep entering. I have kept all my WOL's that I have ever entered and
there is 100s of them which I've probably only won a small amount. Lots of us put in a lot of time, hours and effort to enter WOL's and some come up
trumps but the majority don't. Even if we think they are winners nearly everyone else does to.
Just keep pluggin on and keep it fun! Good luck. I think you're a good chance with the couch
EDIT: Just noticed you've only been a member for 5 weeks - some of the contests you entered may not have been judged yet. It took me at least 6 mths
before I won a decent WOL...

The Taiwan answer is fantastic!
Just because they don't win, doesn't mean they are not good. If there are 1,000 entries, and only 5 prizes, there are going to be good answers that
miss out.
If I have a good answer, I reuse it. My answer to "What is your favourite movie" I must have entered around 15 time before it won.
I also have a favourite answer that I tweak to "Why do you love/want this beauty product" I change it slightly to include the brand name, or
something about the product. It's won a couple of times - approx 3 or 4 times out of around 30-35 different competitions.
Keep all your good answers, there's always another competition coming up that you can use it in (or change a couple of words to make it work for the
next one) |

I've been a member for about 7 weeks, and am having no luck either, yet. I think your answers are funny, guess it depends on the judges etc. I also
love your Taiwan answer........I'm sure we will see our names here soon for cracking the big one |

I just realised the washing machine one hasn't ended yet either. The sock I sent in was prettty dirty haha they are at least going to get a laugh. |

Keep it up shanny and you will score. Remember that a lot of WOL's are drawn because the promotors do not want to pay the fee to register a drawn comp
~ so they hold a WOL to avoid the fee (it's not that much) and draw it in anyway. No-one ever will know the difference so they think... Once only
WOL's are a better bet to be judged.
As for the TV Winners comps, my opinion is that they are drawn, so enter each day as you would for a random draw comp.
There's an old adage - if your answer puts a smile on the judges face, you'll be smiling too! |
