Okay....I need to know how to do something

Ive learnt how to search for comps online and how to make a new post make sure its not already posted etc etc but one thing is eluding me .....how do I place a pic up from the page onto the post I make on here?

Wouldn't mind adding some razzle and dazzle when I make a post in future from the page the comp came from...whos gonna spill and tell me how ;)

You need to have the photo uploaded onto something like photobucket.com and then once it's uploaded to your account there (it's free) you then copy the IMG code underneath it and paste it into your post.
Those pictures need to be on your desktop e.g. so that you can tell photobucket where it is to upload.

If a picture is already on GOOGLE images etc you can copy the image address (right click for IMAGE ADDRESS & COPY) and copy it into your post using the button on the LHS of the # button and that will automatically put in the IMG code part.

This one was here after I GOOGLEd it

http://www.desiglitters.com/glitters/easter/page/3/

Then I did a right click & copied the image address, clicked the yellow graphic button up above this blue box pasted it in & said OKText

If you right click a photo on a webpage, go to properties and copy and paste "Address URL" onto Lottos.

Wow...I learnt something too. Thanks eveyone. I use photobucket, its a bit of a pain and time consuming. I didn't know you could copy the image url directly like that. Cant wait to try it.

Well if it is an image that you have received e.g. by email then it needs to be hosted in photobucket or similar because you can't link it from your computer but if it's an image that is on a site or from Google images (n.b. some of them are not allowed to be used without the site's or the artist's permission...so u need to look) then that's when you can usually copy their URL direct.
Some of them don't work & some you can't use.

Fred111 I used the address under ' Use this BB Code for forums: '
Highlight it and copy (Control C)

When you paste it into the box that appears for the graphic, don't delete the "http://" Just get rid of the highlighting and paste it in.
(Control V)

Voila!!
