Does anyone know how to copy text from a flash site?
A lot of T&Cs are in flash sites and you cannot do a copy and paste on them. Does anyone know how this can be easily done? I have for the past 1
hour tried to find this information on the net but to no avail. I'm sure there would be quite a few people who would like to know how to do
this?
Any help greatly appreciated!!! |

Sometimes the text is embedded in the page source somewhere. try 'view source'. Doesn't work for take 40 and the like though. |

You would probably need to get the swf file (by viewing the page source and locating it)
and then use a decompiler to decompile it in swf form such as swfdecompiler |

I can usually :p But it is a bit involved.
I have a program called flash decompiler. http://www.flash-decompiler.com
For the take 40 etc sites there are multiple "flash" files on the site and I open the page in internet explorer to get the flash file in the
temporary internet files folder.
Open this folder in windows explorer ordered by date so the swf file you are looking for is near the top. ie C:\Documents and Settings\ss\Local
Settings\temporary internet files\s042_artline_oc.swf
Then you drag and drop this swf into Flash Decompiler, click on export objects, check the scripts check box and export as a txt file. Then do a
windows search for the word "mcm" in the exported text files. Hopefully there will be a file found and will have the T&C in it.
Open this file in Word and clean out the formatting commands with the search and replace command until it is presentable for lottos. |

I use onother decompiler which allows me to copy/paste the t&cs from these sites directly
from the software without having to extract anything to anywhere, it saves a lot of mucking around.
But your probly better off sticking to that one if u only use it for the t&c's as this is a bit dearer
