I won different times on the Palmolive competition.... I don't think there is a pattern. One day I rung 8 times and won nothing then the next day one phone call and it was a winner...

I personally believe luck has to be on your side :D

I haven't won many instant phone/sms comps (compared to the size of my bills) but earlier this year I won two days in a row sms-ing at 10am to a Bacardi comp (fridge and mp3 player) but didn't win the next three days, and another time I won by getting up in the middle of the night and ringing until I got a prize (toy pack), took about 10 calls, but I've tried it again and had to give up after many more than that!

i won 3 times on the kotex comp by ringging at 5:32 am. You could only enter 5 times so i was happy with that. my other two enteries i entered at the same time but i didn't get a reply

Around 10am seems to be lucky for me - but I've rung many many times without success too!

Hardest thing with instant wins is to stop yourself from entering a hundred times and getting crazy phone bills.....

no particular time, but right on the hour seems to win most for me.
I go by my computer setting.

I've won a few phone comps but no pattern - I just call when I hear about them or get a mag. I think it's just luck :D

G'day!

There are always set times set by the Promoters in advance...

Is still random, but the times vary throughout the comp so a computer program could not crack the code before a particular comp is finsihed..

I rang the BHG ring n win the other night at 1 am and won the Nilfisk Vacuum Cleaner. Nice prize.

I won on the first call. It was the first time I tried entering the ring n win comps. ;)

i dont think there is a pattern .but saying that i have won a few times with the xbox comp and other sms comps around the same time early hours.:D
ps also when you recharge with telstra for $60 you get $10 bonus on top of that.

Yeah and when you buy on a 15% off day ate K-mart it is even better value.....$51.00 for $70 worth of credit.
PS u only get the bonus if you balance is $1 or more when you recharge

My biggest win was from an instant win SMS..
It was sent at about 9:30PM gmt+8.

I won $10,000 Designer blinds (curtains) voucher.

I never win on instant wins but over the years i have tried different people have said what times they have won their wins so i have tried them and still not won .On one I tried at 2am and never won yet at 2.03am a friend won so who knows.
