25 WOL winning entry

I recently won $600 worth of luggage.

The question was something like, where would you take your luggage if you won? My answer was:

It’s off to Paris I’d be
My new collection of Caroline Manuell with me
It’s chic, stylish, glam
They will think I’m one of them!

Should receive the luggage this week

Well done JaneKeighley , just like to say we often wonder how they count words such as it's , I'd & I'm , some comps would count them as 2 words each but in this case it shows they have been counted as 1 .You just never know , I have even had , . counted .:)

how they count words

I wonder that too. I always count it's, that's etc as one word. i've even hyphenated some words to reduce word count, so am not sure about that either.

Arghhhhhhhh! Surely it's is one word. That is the way I count it. I hope I haven't put lots of effort in and it has been counted as two words???

Luggage congratulations

Congratulations Jane on your luggage win. What a lovely surprise. I was getting a bit stuck on the 25 WOL until I read yours and then I started to get ideas. (All new to me you see)

well done Jane - fantastic win!
I always count I'm and I'll etc as 2 words just in case as I don't want to risk being disqualified.

Lovely answer - well done. Great prize.

I am in total disagreement that it's, that's etc would ever be counted as two words as grammatically they're only one word.
