Mine went something like this- doesn't really compare to the others though.
A relaxing day,
with more than my pay,
lashing out,
like a water spout,
spoiling & toiling,
imagine myself,
prancing around like a little elf,
cruising at my leisure,
would be such a great pleasure,
smiling & spending,
what a lovely ending. |

this was my entry:
Lots of sales in every store,
Red carpet walkways door to door,
Bag carrying elves keep my hands free,
Lovely places for lunch and coffee,
Lots of samples I can try,
Helpful staff when I buy,
Christmas songs over the PA,
So when I’m finished, I’ve had a great day! |

THis was mine - didnt win also but thought it was pretty good (as usual!!). Like all the others though too - think they just picked one out of the
bag this time
I think u know the tune!
Westfield Christmas Wonderland would ultimately be:
12 hours for shopping,
11 breaks for coffee,
10 thousand dollars,
9 ladies toilets,
8 times less people,
7 Santa's smiling,
6 silent children,
5 golden arches,
4 calling friends,
3 French baguettes,
2 trolleys full,
And a car park outside the main doors. |

Geez, there's some great entries here. Let's hope there's still a chance they haven't picked a winner yet.
This was my effort - (VERY loosely to the tune of Jingle Bells)
Living in the country doesn’t mean forgoing grand,
Westfield’s “Extravaganza”
entices us across the land.
There’s……..
so much more than our General Store
we get to CHOOSE our brand
trolleys don’t go sideways,
the registers are manned!
Christmas celebrations are never, ever bland
MERRY CHRISTMAS WESTFIELD -
We’re dreaming you’ll expand!!!! |

So many incredible entries....makes me sorta glad I didn't get time to enter before we went on holidays, there is no way I could come up with anything
nearly so creative!
I hope the delay in advising the winner is because they are actually READING ALL the entries!
Good luck everyone!

And here I was thinking I was being creative, I did Jingle Bells as well *lol*
Of course the most fun part is the assumption that people enjoy Christmas shopping. Could rewrite it like this:
Dashing through the stores
With a long list in my hand
Took an hour to park
There's barely room to stand
Credit card refused
Breaking down in tears
Spending Christmas at Westfield
The sum of all my fears! |

I love yours Winged - tells the true story of Christmas that the ads fail to mention. Your next verse needs to be about not having batteries, lost
receipts, returned goods queues, broken toys on first day, "what the" presents etc. I'd vote for your entry! |

I can't find the original comp post to look at the T&C.
Would that say when the winners' names would be published? |
