A feast of losing entries ... PART ONE.
I thoroughly enjoy entering 25 wol competitions. It's not even about winning anything - I get a competition in my head then spend days thinking about
it, when I'm driving, in the shower, in bed etc.
Anyhow, I have entered a stack of them recently and have only won one prize this whole year. I'd love to be posting my winning entries to share but
all I have is these losers (I actually enjoy reading ALL members entries, whether winners or losers ... so I would encourage you to post your losing
entries too, rather than waste them, let them have an audience!
1. SONY PS2/Ghost Rider Promotion - you had to say what you would sell your soul for ... *actually I think this was 50wol
My soul I'd sell for a PS2
There's more than a ghost of a chance it's true
Little girls dream of winning a pony
Big ones like me dream of prize packs from Sony
2. Suzanne Grae competition - you had to say why you wanted to win 100-dollar voucher for clothes and hair once a month for next six months
No clothes unwrapped on Christmas Day
Hair in total disarray
But now I'll celebrate New Wardrobe Day!
Cos Suzanne Grae
Has offered to pay!
3. L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival - why you deserve to go
Fashion is my passion
In Melbourne I'll unearth it
But most of all
Like L'Oreal
It's because I'm worth it!
4. Can't remember which one this was for but to win a SAGEM mobile phone you had to say what feature you would like to see in a phone ... (this is
inspired by a true story)
Give it a casing like granite,
I'm the clumsiest girl on the planet,
Features don't matter I've found,
If phone's in pieces on the ground!
Nothing. Not a sausage for any of them ... ha ha ...
I'll come up with a sequel for this post with more losers on it soon ... |

Yep, I'm stunned none won either - perhaps you could re-use them for other comps. after all, maybe another "judge" might like them more?
They are just too hard to please - so I've tried going for silly/stupid ones lately (let's see if any win  ) as decent ones like yours don't.  |

I agree with everyone else, they are really great entries!!!
I would definately be re-using them in other comps, one is sure to attract the right judges attention sooner or later |

The 25wol I have won have been pathetic, the ones I actually think about I don't win a sausage.
So use and re-use I am sure you will win something with them as they are truly really good entries and GOOD LUCK |

I would definately rework them into other comps and re use them. All of these are good, and it just depends on what that particular person is looking
for, on that particular day. |

These entries are so good! I always think my entries are winners, and its a good reality check to see entries like yours which are way better than
any I write!

I would say keep at it
as they are very good entries
unfortunately no one knows what the judges are looking for on the day
and sometimes am sure all of us question are the winning entries even judged
but definately don't give up
hope this helps and thanks for sharing
always enjoy reading what people submit winners or not
after all, we are ALL winners in Lottoland

They're very, very good angelac - the Sony one could be reworked for other comps. I think I've won at least 4 times with a similar entry, and
sometimes it hasn't won a sausage...so keep going. Perhaps they just have NOT been read at all, and just picked at random, nothing surprises me any
more. Thanks for sharing, I appreciate it.

They are good and reuse them again. I had a 25 wol that I used for so many comps over a year. Never won a thing then in January reused it yet again
and won a bridge climb for 4; Sydney accomodation ; Captain cook cruise tix, Wildlife park tix plus $150 to spend at a Seafood restaurant in Darling
Harbour. so, it pays to keep reusing them.
BTW yours are fabulous!!!!!!!!
