on the Internet as my original work and under my own copyright. I understand that my submission will be reviewed before it is accepted for the

3 Questions We Are Most Often Asked
Q. How does the contest work, and what prizes can I win?
A. Each year, we sponsor the International Open Amateur Photography Contest to encourage new artists and undiscovered talent to submit their work for
consideration. We receive thousands of entries, each of which is evaluated by our selection committee. Those entries that exhibit a unique perspective
or artistic vision are advanced to semifinalists in the contest. Complete sets of prizes are awarded at the end of each contest. All prizes are
guaranteed to be awarded. The annual Grand Prize is $10,000.00. The Grand Prize for each individual contest is $1,000.00. For each individual contest
there are forty First Prizes of $35.00, four in each of 10 categories. Seventy-three Second Prizes of gifts with a retail value of $25.00 each are
awarded without regard to category. We award additional prizes in case of ties.
Q. Am I under any obligation to purchase anything?
A. None whatsoever. We select photos for our publications because of their importance or artistic appeal, without regard to any purchase. Naturally,
all publishers must sell books in order to stay in business. We have been successful publishers because of our outstanding reputation for publishing
anthologies that have universal appeal. We publish only hardbound coffee table volumes, utilizing the finest milled paper and the highest quality
bindery available. People who purchase our books are delighted with their quality and value. Our customers include libraries, bookstores, magazines,
newspapers, historical societies, foundations, and fine photographers ... like you.
Q. If my photo is selected for publication, will I be able to find the book in bookstores?
A. Yes. You can order any of our publications from all major retail bookstores and online booksellers (order using ISBN number). However, if you wish
to own a copy of the book that your photo is in, purchasing it directly from us has several advantages. First, you will receive your book sooner.
Second, you can take advantage of a special contributor's pre-publication discount. We further guarantee that you will not be able to purchase the
book for less from any retail, discount, or online bookseller, or we will refund the difference. Additionally, we offer an unconditional return
policy. If for any reason you are dissatisfied, your money will be promptly refunded.
