The Winning Entry (Not Mine) for the realestate.com.au Renovation Rescue Comp
This was the $15k winning entry... unfortunately not mine 
We bought a little 3 bedroom house with a hills hoist and a bungalow.
With 3 adults and one small child it's surprising how a family can grow!
What once was 4 has grown to six,
Now what we have we need to fix.
Make more rooms for bodies to sleep
And make a bungalow somewhere for mum to keep!
The garage she is falling down,
The mortar doesn’t want to stay around!
The kitchen she is jerry-built
The cupboards like to jam and tilt!
There’s no cash here to fix a spot,
But 15 grand would help a lot! |
