some of my winning entries
Well it seems that everyone is reluctant to post their winning entries, but I am really curious to see more of other peoples'!! So I'm going to bite
the bullet and post a few of my own (and please feel free to post some of yours, hint hint!!!).
Caltex Vortex comp - won a $500 fuel voucher, and trip for two to all three state of origin rugby league games in 2008. question was something like -
why do you like using Vortex fuel?
Vortex prevents engine abuse
Car has more power, needs less juice
engine deposits are reduced
so driving performance gets a boost!
OK magazine, "No Reservations" comp - major prize - trip for two to melbourne, including flights, 5 nights, luxury accom, $1000 spending money and a
sunbeam coffee machine. Question was: What's the best meal you've ever eaten out and why?
Picnic table, folding chairs,
A good merlot, ocean air,
pizza delivered to dinner location
No need to make a reservation!
I didn't think this was a winner and was very surprised to get the phone call!
Please post away people - I'd love to hear some of yours! |

Coffee Machine Winning Entry
This is what recently won me a $599 coffee Maker....
I usually rhyme but not this time.....lol
My poppy gave me an old "Breville Radio" It was a much treasured possession in the times of the war. Now it's just more for show and takes pride of
place in my lounge room and I can't help but wonder of all the tales it could tell me of years gone by. The "Good Ol' Breville" |

This was the song my darling heart serenaded last week to 2ue.
This morning I woke up with an earful
And instantly was cheerful
with Sandi Aloisi in my brain
She took away my pain
I threw the pillow from my head
and sat up in my bed
and this is what I said
Sandi I love you
I may be old and greasy
but I need my Aloisi
For without you news is cheesy
Sandi I love you
There's nothing to be afraid of
You take all my blues away
when you read the news each day
Believe me, it's platonic I assure ya
I'm not some kind of stalker
You're just my perfect talker
Sandi I love you
There's nothing to be afraid of
You take all my blues away
when you read the news each day

What a crack-up Mojo. Did he actually have to sing it? OMG I hope he's got a better voice than my OH! Huge congrats on your wonderful valentines
day win!
I love reading other people's winning entries, these are all great. Unfortunately my WOL wins have been a little bit on the lean side lately, but
hope I'll have a winner to share shortly. |

Yes Christinamarina ... he actually had to sing it. If you go to the competition page on lottos and then link through to the 2ue page and click on
week #1 entries his is the second
one.
I for one thought it was hilarious.

This was for a Chicco stroller I won with Babies Galore last year. So between frizzy & me you know what you need to win a Stroller:-
It's never too early to ditch the velour and instead stroll about in Italian haute couture! Very "CHIC"- CO

Here is my winning entry for a Raco Art Deco kettle
What gets you steamed up?
Litterbugs
Thugs
People dealing drugs
Polluting
stealing
Peak hour commuting
But What REALLY
Boils me to STEAMED Distress
is NEVER winning
25 words or Less!
This was on the back of an envelope. i went oversized and put in extra effort with a size A4 envelope. Costs $1.00 to send. So it's worth the extra 50
cents.
All my wins have been with 25 WOL.
Good luck everyone. |

Thanks Rosita,
My partner and I find that the rhyming 25WOL seem to work, but not always. Here is an entry that didn't win. There was only 1 winner though.
25 WOL your favourite sporting moment. We thought that everyone would write about the well known events so we took a chance with this one
The thrill, the buzz
That roaring crowd
the Magic, the Action,
People shouting out loud
My Son's first goal
As a parent - So Proud.
It was a tricky 25 WOL because there were so many ways of responding - Never Mind. |

Here I go:
We saw Santana last night play in Perth and so glad we won the comp!
Our seats were great about 12 rows from the front so it was so good. This was my hubbies effort (not mine I'm rubbish!)
In San Francisco you lit the flame
At Woodstock you staked your claim
To see you play I'd feel blessed
Carlos Santana: you're the best |

Always served to rave reviews!
It was a coloured envelope but not decorated. 1 entry only. |

I found my winning entry for the Lucky You comp thankfully! You had to say what your favourite card game is and why:
My favourite game is solitaire
So if I win none can oppose
And if I lose, it’s not unfair
And when I cheat, no-one knows!
