I thought I had a chance
This is my entry for Babies Galore. I thought it was quite good and was hoping for my first comp win. I have been a member since Feb 27 and have
entered mountains of comps. I am still waiting.
Question:
Tell us in 25 words or less 'Why you would like to win a Safe-n-Sound Meridian AHR Recliner Convertible Car Seat from Babies Galore?
Answer:
To keep my baby safe
The best way I know how
Is to secure her in an AHR seat
Knowing she's comfy,
'Safe n Sound' |

I agree, I have saved quite a few 25wol that I thought "thats a winner for sure" and then nothing!! Then for my one big win, I just threw together a
25wol, didnt save it or give it another thought as I really didnt care, and won a holiday from it, so you never really know whats going to get you
there. You just keep trying. |

Its a good entry.
I find the comps I think I have a great entry in I never win, the ones I win are those I have forgotten all about. The entries I think I've done
really well, I save, I can almost guarantee the very fact I have saved them means they won't win!
Just keep trying, if you have entered mountains of comps then you are off to a good start.
My comping rule, as taught to me by a truly great comper, is "Post and Forget" so I enter and forget....then anything I win is a great surprise!

Gotta agree with everyone else. The 25wol answers I'm sure will be a winner never ever ever win!! The ones I think are rubbish always seem to be the
winners. Your answer is great. Very clever. And don't forget, sometimes they dont read all the entries and sometimes they just draw the winner.

Yes I agree also, I have written some what I believe excellent 25 WOL proudly reciting them to the whole family and then nothing comes of them, the
ones I do hastily and dont give another thought always seem to be the ones that win. Keep trying and good luck, I thought it was excellent |

I agree, the ones I keep an eye because I thought I had a brilliant entry I never win. I have had more success with the last minute off the top of my
head 25wol that I have completely forgotten about. Only last week I won a $5000 red balloon voucher off a 25wol and I havn't a clue what I wrote!
I should add I have been entering babies galore for about 2 years and never won a thing

I agree with everyone else. My odd entry that I think is brilliant never wins (and I never cease to be disappointed!). It's the entries that I
consider to be so-so that do win. I save them all though in one big word document, so I can reuse / modify entries for future competitions. |

I also agree with what everyone else has said - occasionally I remember something I've written, convinced it will win, but it never does, but I've had
a few small wins with ones I've sent off and forgotten about.
I'm like 3littlepigs - send it in and forget, but I'm wondering if I should do what Eve said, and save them all for future reference.
Anyway, good luck AngelaJane - hope you have plenty of wins in the future, and thanks for sharing your entry - I love reading what others have written
(and then thinking "no wonder I never win") some of them are so good |

Don't enter very many but do write them down normally , the 1 time I have a win , no idea what I wrote .Eve59 think it is about time I learnt how to
do that.

I do that as well; it is amazing how one 25 wol can be adapted for many different comps.... and sometimes it will win for one but not for another.....

I agree. I have a folder saved with all the 25WOL entries that I have done. they can be adapted for different comps. I use them when my partner isn't
around to come up with a new one. My partner is the clever one, he should have gone into advertising. Having said that, some of the great ones haven't
been what the judges are looking for. I have not won a 25 WOL on line. My success comes from the entries that allow the extra creativity and work.
Keep trying and good luck to everyone. |

if you have a look at this thread AngelaJane there's 2 entries by lottos members for Babies Galore comps that have won...see them here
http://www.lottos.com.au/forum/viewthreadlite.php?tid=137397...
so that'll give you an idea of maybe what they're looking for and what they like.
I keep a Word file with all my 25WOL entries and I think most of them are rather good but I seldom win!!!!

I think the main thing with 25wol is to just enter anyway, even if you have a so-so entry. I've had one really good prize with a 25wol I was proud of,
but the other few I have won are so-so prizes for so-so entries.
The reason I say enter anyway is because I suspect some competitions are actually just drawn at random so a so-so entry stands more chance than none
at all! |

Thanks for all your encouraging comments. I am keeping a record of all my WOL entries but, as some of you suggested, am writing, sending, then
forgetting! Will keep you posted WHEN I have a win. |

Hi AngelaJane,
I won a Peg Perago stroller from Babies Galore last year with the following entry;
'Strong and reliable but practically light.
Full of features that suit me right.
A preferred brand for parents galore.
I couldn't ask for anything more'
Hope that helps you with futher entries. Good Luck! |
