How much time is spent comping?

I have been on lottos for over a year and have never once got up to 300 comps entered, even doing it up to four or five hours a day. (I use roboform too). In fact, I've never got past 200 current comps entered, and I'm no slow coach.

I wouldn't worry too much about what other people are doing, because as has been mentioned, some people tick comps as entered when they couldn't have entered them already (eg because they haven't started yet etc).

I think entering 50 comps in two hours is a good effort. Just enter the ones you'd really like to win and spend time on 25wol if you can. I am happy with the level of comps I enter and the time I spend doing it (and money - have to keep that in mind too).

I enter less than I used to (I spent too much on purchasing products I couldn't afford at the beginning) but still get about the same amount of wins so that makes me happy.

Just find the right balance for you, and don't worry about others.

There's always people that will win more - and less - than you.

Good Luck.

Is there a way I can tell how many comps I enter in a day or a week to get my average or do you just add them up from the ticks (comps entered).

Thank you in advance!

I only joined yesterday after watching the bit about Lottos on ACA.

Don't know if it is any good, but this is my strategy: I've been entering all the relevant comps ending soonest to catch up a bit. My plan is to have enough comps entered well ahead of the closing dates so that I can maybe spend one or two hours on this per day in future and then take some days off too (ie. for when I go on away for a bit). I've spent several hours on this yesterday and today and am only one week ahead with comp closing dates now. I'm becoming more selective and have discovered how to filter which comps I am not eligible for according to my state I live in. I'm also becoming less tolerant if the entry process is too complicated or if the comp website doesn't work properly - I move on. If the entry process is complicated, the prize has to be worth the effort.

Well, let's see how long it takes before I win anything!

Thanks to all the comp posters and people who give tips!

If there is - I've never found it. Every now and then I get curious and just make a mark in my diary each time I enter a comp (those marks where you do 4 lines then one across - I don't know what they are called). Then I total it up for the week, or the month. It's the only way to do it as far as I know.

You've given me a great idea heldige1. We already have a Prize Exchange. Why not a Dating Service where you can put up a Wanted ad for a fellow single comper looking to get together for coffee during Gloria Jeans promotions, go shopping together (comping shop that is), go to the movies together (to use up those free passes), and have lovely home cooked meals together (based on comp products of course)!

But please ladies get your mammograms, do your monthly checks, teach your daughters to do them too...and make sure if you are concerned, to keep on going to doctors til you get an answer you are 100% happy with.

I sit with hubby, TV on, he watches ABC and whatever else he likes ands I comp on my laptop. I never sit and comp as a separate activity. I love reading. I love comping. I just can't work out how to do both at the same time.
